Closing Fee...Advice

What would your thoughts be re: an amicable fee to charge if a client required you to execute two closing packages? One complete package is 100 pages which include numerous notarizations; approx. 8.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Depends.. is it edoc or overnight. Being from NJ my fee can range from 100 and up. I give volume discounts to my larger clients.

If its a 1st and 2nd then I would charge 50% of my normal fee for the 2nd.

Plus being its EOM.. last minute deals are PITA. Had 2 overnights turn into edocs for tomorrow and I had to cancel because my schedule is that tight and can't wait for docs all day and night.

Re: Closing Fee...Advice.Forgot to Mention

It is only a 1st requiring to execute 2 sets of a Refinance Package.

**It is only a 1st requiring to execute 2 sets of a Refinance Package.**

I would treat it like a 1st and 2nd loan. 400+ papers to print out and at least 1 and half hours to sign all the docs. So between printing and signing and travel you have blocked out a min of 3 hours or longer of your day.
