Re: OT-Constant drizzle here/ Pancakes and Sausage cooking....

Taquito breakfast here from Whataburger. I love those things.

The dogs love our weekend trip down the street to procure our special Sunday morning coffee and breakfast.

Re: OT-Constant drizzle here/ Pancakes and Sausage cooking..

(everybody sing)..."Aunt Jemima pancakes....without her syrup...is like the spring...without the fall.....there's only one thing worse...in this...universe....that's no Aunt Jemima...at all....."

No offense....but don't those "Jemima witnesses" really begin to bug you....? I mean I'm just sitting down to my breakfast and they pop up by my window asking...y'all need some of my syrup?...I mean it just RUDE!!! (grrrr)

Sorry...I went away....i'm back now. "Doc"

I don't know if Butterworth is better, or I just like the name better because it sounds buttery. I am a Mrs. Butterworth gal myself.

So here's the best way to eat pancakes...

I had to go to college to learn this, now I'm telling you for free... don't knock it till you've tried it.

Cover pancake #1 in peanut butter. Has to be #1 cause the PB needs the heat to melt. Creamy, not chunky

Throw on pancake #2 and cover in Applesauce

Finger lickin' good.

Otherwise, real maple syrple or whatever homemade jam happens to be around. Apricot is good and it's usually runny anyway.

Re: So here's the best way to eat pancakes...

I'm impressed.

Now, that would have made me feel better about the $20,000 I spent for my son's first year in college. He spent his "first" freshman learning how to create $300 cell phone bills and to use Napster. His GPA was 0.5. Recipes would have at least been useful to ME. I could have really enjoyed the recipes.

LOL

Okay, I am going to guess before searching, "I'm my own grandpa." Okay, now I will search and see if I was right.

No! You're just being mean. That is not nice to tell me I am wrong.

They ought to take a rope and hang ye.

"Dang Me"

They say that roses are red and violets are purple
Sugar is sweet and so is maple syrple
I'm the seventh out of a seventh son
My pappy was a pistol, I'm a son of a gun
