When you attached an ack or jurat do you put a line through the other verbage and write: "See attached" or just attach the new ack or jurat?

Re: Cross through
I always cross through and write see attached certificate, just to further prevent fraud or in case my certificate "accidentally" comes off the document it was intended to be attached to. It alerts the reader that there is a certificate attached.

I always cross through the ack or Jurat and add initials and See attached.

I always put a diagonal line thru it, the top half I put the date, bottom half my initials. This way they know that I am the one who voided the certificate. I stamp it with a stamp I had made up that says "See attached Notarial Certificate" . I use the stamp for ACK and Jurats.

Does an attached ack need to be stapled to the document or fastened somehow?

Re: Attachments, Notary-OH
I attached the loose cert to the doc with a tiny piece of tape.

Re: Attachments...Oops
Many lenders now a day likes clean papers. I don't cross out the original, but just put "Loose Notarial Certificate Attached".

Had a small stamp made - Not California Compliant - See Attached (2 lines).
