Batting Clean-up

This was my first experience at batting clean-up and truthfully I was/am just sick over what another SA did to a borrower. One doc only, met my fee and off I went. ID'd borrower, asked about her middle name on her license being spelled differently than on the aka (previous SA never checked ID), had her sign journal and took print (previous SA didn't have journal) had her sign aka and included the correct spelling, swore her in (previous SA never swore her in), notarized the doc (previous SA told her "there's so many documents that I'm going to take them home and seal them"Wink, gave her my card (she didn't even know the SA's name) and offered an apology for having such a poor experience. (Previous SA kept the docs 6 days before dropping). This SA evidently works for a RE office and moonlights...if you're reading this, get yourself TOGETHER! You put the entire loan in jeopardy! READ FOR GOD'S SAKE!

I was just shaking my head at this other sa, until I got to the 6 days--- 6 DAYS, oh wow, who would keep docs 6DAYS (shouting intended!) And they worked for a RE office.... I'm speechless.

Good job, Sue , but bad sports annalogy. Batting Clean Up..

is the fourth batter in the lineup or a baeball team.
He is usually one of the best hitters on the team.
His job is to get a hit and, have the runners, hopefully,
onbase score. (Clean up the bases)
What you did is closer the the job of the guy who mops up
the locker room, but your job takes a lot more knowledge
and experience.
Notice that I did not make any sexist comments.
Have a great day.

Thanks Bob...see what I can learn by just reading?

Better term would be "Mopping up"

Actually to clean another's mess. Good try though. Smile

Thanks Sylvia and PL...your description instantly

had me flashing on the old Carol Burnett show when she played the "mop up person" (having a senior moment, it'll pass). Anyway...yep yep...I see what ya'll mean and you're right about the proper term!

The guy with the job of mopping up the locker room......

also has to pick up all of the used jock straps. Not the
best job in the world.

Think they will do a "Dirtiest Job In The World" show on that guy?
