ABSOLUTELY HATED IT!!!!
The auto-sheet feeder would CONSTANTLY JAMB!
As far as printing goes.... it does great....
wanna auto-sheet feed scan to computer.... can't do it.... jamb, jamb, jamb. wanna auto-sheet feed a multi-page fax.... can't do it.... jamb, jamb, jamb.
I had the machine replaced by Lexmark TWICE and still the same issue. I gave the darn thing away to a friend who just wanted a good printer.... and I SWORE to myself that I'd never buy another LEXMARK product ever again!

It ain't the razor, it's the blades...
I'll have to take JB's advice on this particular model and issue... but I've been a hired gun geek for more than a few years and my experience with everything Lexmark ever made is two-fold bad:
1. Product quality is low to non-existent... JB's remarks don't surprise me.
2. The cost of consumables is astronomical.
My recommendation to any client who had a Lexmark product was to replace it the next time it ran out of ink.

I had a Lexmark -- wasn't worth the headache. I thought that I heard that the Dell printers were really Lexmark.... not sure tho.

Also had a Lexmark and didn't keep it long. Have had a Brother MFC 9700 , dual trays. My opinion it can't be beat and never a problem child!!
