OT kind of-Gas Prices?

I saw gas today at $2.69 gallon, I was wondering if any of you were seeing some relief.

$3.66 here in my town of course we just got over the last weekend of the summer to fleece the tourists trying to escape the heat of the valley. I really have to laugh when I get calls from the signing agencies who want me to go across the mountains for $50.

I remember CA prices

I lived in the warm sunshine of So Cal, but I know the prices went way up. Wow, $3.66, I don't blame you for laughing, Charles, here's to you and Susan getting some relief soon. Roger, my good sir, you are the luckiest of us all so far.

Funny you should post this today. Earlier this evening, I was rejoicing to see the cheapest local station finally break the $3.00 barrier for the first time in recent memory. I try to fill up whenever I'm in the more northern parts of OC where gas is sometimes $.20/gal cheaper! Go figure...

I posted today because I haven't filled up my van since last

week and I was shocked at the change, it was $3.11 or something like that last week. OC? I'm from Fullerton!

Quite a change of scenery to WI, no? I did a signing in Fullerton last week - and I was thrilled that it was time to gas up - paid only $2.93 there! ;>Wink

HUGE!

But I'm getting used to it now. We've been here 1 1/2 years and came in winter, THAT was a wake up call. Digging out the car the first weekend = not fun. But I like it here too. We have time here, kids in sports, I'm able to be home, we don't wake up at 4 am and get home at 6:30, it's nice in a different way. I do miss the beach though, Lake Michigan doesn't do it for me.

Re: $3.08 here...not much of a change! We try...

to fill up in Idaho as much as possible. It's just 15 minutes away & .20 - .25 cents cheaper...plus with the Safeway, we get a .10 cent discount!

2.79 for the cheap stuff in North country NH. ITs cheaper down in the Southern part of the State.

Sad that $2.55 a Gal looks so good to me now!

Price here in west Indiana is $2.55 a gallon and I'm loving it! Had gotten as high as $3.12 a gallon.
