Question on Notarization of Names/ID's ---
----Hi! The lender has pre-printed verbage in both Acknowledgement & Jurat sections as follows: 'Rita Skeeter, who acquired title as Rita Skeeter-Potter' . I am pretty sure that I can only notarize just the borrowers name , 'Rita Skeeter (which means Loose Certificates) , but --- my question to you all--- is the lender inserted verbiage notarizable?
(The borrower only has ID as 'Rita Skeeter' .)
Thanks to all who respond! (&, if you are wondering, these are not the real names!)

I had just finish a class on this issue, my understanding is that you can not notarize these forms; it has to be exact as her ID card indicates.

Re: Question on Notarization of Names/ID's
You do not need a loose certificate when the TC or lender pre-prints the borrower's name and status incorrectly -- cross out the verbiage that is incorrect and initial it.
If the wording for the acknowledgment or jurat itself is incorrect, then you would need to attach a loose certificate.
