Update on my Dad

First, I want to thank all of you for your prayers. Dad's doing much better now, although it looks like he'll be in the hospital for awhile (which is fine with me, most hospitals send the elderly home to early and they get sick all over again) The doctor told me this morning that dad is coming along great, and that he is doing better then the doctor thought he would (due to he's condition when he was admitted. They are going to start some rehabilitation today (get him up and walking). Again, thank you for your prayers.

Wonderful! Glad your Dad is doing better.
When someone has pneumonia, the doctors like to get the patient up and walking so their lung function gets better.

when he gets better - you might want to investigate the pneumonia vaccine -ask his doctor about it.
