A checkered background can mean many things...
Such a classic design...
On a shirt, it means amiable country bumpkin
On a table cloth, simple elegance, an italian dinner with romance in the air.
On a flag a sure sign of victory.
Behind the words "Past Due Please Pay" on a fax from me it means I'm not faxing black pages yet but we're half way to that point.
