Bounced checks
I have received a bounced check from Notarize 24/7. Do you think it is right charge a bounced check fee? The reason I ask is that if you bounce a check you get charged a extra fee so why should we not be able to charge one to our customers?
Tell me what you think?

You may be entitled to charge a fee for a bounced check, but check with your local authorities to see what the limits are. At the very least, you should be able to recover whatever your bank charged you.
Also, intentionally bouncing a check is a crime. If they don't make good on the check and the fees you had to pay, you should contact the DA in their area and file a complaint.

When I had my other business, I charged $25 per check. Bank charged me $20. I made 5 bucks off them for the time involved contacting them (sometimes numerous times) etc.

In my prior life I was a banker, so I hope this helps. There are certain laws regarding disclosure of an NSF fee prior to actually charging it. For example, if you have a store, you must post the fee in a clearly visable area (like the check writing stand). I couldn't tell you what our rights as notaries are or how we would go about disclosing an NSF fee to our SS/Title co's/etc. You may want to look into that first, just so they don't try to call foul on you (oh the irony). But that poses an excellent question that I'm going to check out for myself! Good luck, and I hope you get your money.
