Did I backdate?

Did an FHA closing last night where I noticed toward the end of signing volumes upon volumes of docs that some (not all) of the TC's docs contained a preprinted date one day earlier. It was late, the docs didn't require my notarization (just the B's signatures) so I let it go. Now I'm wondering if I engaged in backdating? Any comments would be appreciated.

As long as your notarial certificates show the correct date, you are not backdating.

I find that it is common for some title documents at the end to have earlier dates pre-printed on them. Like Teresa said, it's the NOTARIZED dates you have to worry about not backdating.

I guess none of the NSA "certification" programs go over broker disclosures. I've seen this question too many times in the past month.
