Hope that this is an oversight

On August 30, I did an assignment for a Michigan Notary (who now has her own signing service) The agreed price was $xxx.xx, Today I received a check in the amount of $xx.xx, I have left a message for her, and have emailed her as well. I hope that this is just an oversight, I like her and liked working with her, but in way would I have gone over 30 miles one way for the $xx.xx amount.
