Well, when we only have to drive its ok. Farther, they pay us more. But, we are in rural Oregon so we don't want to lose business. They send us +/- five per month. We want to be left standing when the crisis is over.

They only want to pay me $85 for edocs. I want to be in business as well, but not for $85 with edocs. JMO

LFC agreed to $100.00 edocs for a deal 1 mile from my house. Easy Breezy.

$85 is their standard fee for edocs, but

They WILL pay more - you need to establish an area you're willing to cover for that fee, make them understand that you will charge more for assignments outside of that area, and decline any assignments outside of that area if they won't increase the fee. They won't hold that against you, and if you're on their "preferred vendor list" they'll negotiate the fee.

My experience with them has been that they are really easy to work with and they pay within 2-3 weeks. My only complaint: every package I've received from them has at least 4 marital affidavits, each one saying the exact same thing. I have no idea why they need that many affidavits, but it does give me a chance to joke a bit with the borrowers...
