Looking for economic business equipment

I just wondered if anyone out there may have suggestions for the most affordable/simple solutions for faxes. There are a lot of "free" e-fax deals out there and some that are very inexpensive, but figured I'd ask around before choosing. Also, I'm looking for another laser printer. Without a lot of $ to squander, what would my fellow SAs recommend? Thanks for your help! Smile

If you do a search for Andy Le (orange button) he is a notary on this board and he sells refurbished HP4100 with dual trays. I just talked to him about it because I will need a new laser printer soon and I read that other notaries on this board purchased this printer from him and were very satisfied.

As for as printers... HP has some really good laser printers, that are not that expensive. Dell has couple too, but the draw back to Dell is that you can only get toner from them.

I have an HP 1320 and it does very well. It ran around $300 at the time. I have an HP 1040 for faxing but I only send faxes with it. I use faxaway.com to receive faxes. I give them $10 up front and they give me a dedicated fax number and 10 months of worry-free service. Faxes are scanned and emailed to me. I've been very happy with it.

I have a dual tray printer from dell. I love it. Yes I have to get the toner from them but I get free shipping on them.

As far as faxing I use fax digits. This is a receive only and it is free!!!

Dell toner...Kathy

I deal with a local toner shop where they have refills for Dell. I have the 1700 in my car and the high yield 6K pages include the chip is only $21. PM or email me if interested as I get discount from them for referral.
