Notary Bids - they won't reply
Since they are so new, I haven't had a chance to work for them. But, I have emailed them a couple times asking about their affiliation with Loan Signers, Inc. I remember having trouble collecting from Loan Signers. I asked 'em how Notary Bids is going to be different. They'll take that $9.95 up front and not send you repeat business - or some such angle.

It's 9.95 for each company that calls you through them
It's not a one-time charge, unless they have recently changed it.

They replied to me stating that they are not affiliated with any other company, but they share a fax line with Loan Signers Inc

This is the reply that I got from them:
Hello Todd,
NotaryBids.com is not affiliated with any other company. We would appreciate knowing where such an affiliation was implied?
Sincerely,

I've been thinking about signing up with your firm. I recently learned that you are affiliated with LoanSigners.com. I had all kinds of trouble collecting fees from that firm. Why would I sign up with the same company?

Got an e from NotaryBids. Looks like the same guy in the e from LoanSigners... My theory: they are twins... separated at birth...and neither is the 'good' one.

Yup - and he says the best notaries at the cheapest price!
What made me laugh is this from the e-mail to Lee (or was it Todd?)
"We would appreciate knowing where such an affiliation was implied?"
He is the source himself of the information! duh!

That was me
Whether it's LoanSigners, Closing Quest or someone else, I'm having collection issues that have Ace Mortgage attached to them.
Last summer I closed a loan not far from my home. The couple comes from wealthy families (his Dad has given "plenty" to the local university, including a large home). Their son originated the loan and "does a lot in this part of the state" they say to me. I learned their son worked for Ace Mortgage. I see a great account brewing. They are now a huge source of my collections. Go figure !!
