Notary Rotary- FYI has cut down my notary searches

Hi all- just want to let you all know that in the past few days notrot has evidently changed search options for notaries. I use notrot almost exclusively to find which notaries are closest to my assignments and to find new notaries if i don’t have one in the area. Normally on a busy day it would take 50-100 searches to get "locked out" and i can totally understand, given spam and spider type crawlers etc… notrot just wants to protect your privacy. Is this really fair to those of you that are paying $59-$179 to be listed?? Why pay for a service that companies like ours can only use minimally. I DONT repeat DONT want to use the XYZ service, i despise them just as much as everyone here, but after 5-10 searches i get locked out- i walked in this morning to 5 orders that need to be filled asap, and get locked out before i even fill the first one. I hope you all are listed elsewhere! Please do something about this Harry! Its not fair to your paying notaries and companies trying to fill orders, isn’t that what the service is about in the first place ???

I have my own fees but will negotiate SOME. But I also reserve the right to refuse any offer. But that is a great reminder.

Fees aren't great, but TBC is a pleasure to work with.

No babysitting, no fax backs and they ALWAYS have your back...unless you're a complete idiot and don't know how to do your job.

Great to work for...

Very fair and pleasant to deal with even though the one I did ended up being a no sign (and a marital dispute at that.)

I hope you get your problem addressed Elayne!

I have same problem - Harry please fix

I do mostly general notary work. Plus I work for 1 office of LOs only. Whenever my LOs have a signing outside my coverage area I always find the notary for them because the TC sends them cheap newbies.

Yesterday I was looking for a notary with RevMort experience in a distant town. I was logged in but NR locked me out of searches after only around 10 searches.

So I was forced to use NR's competitors to find a notary.

I am a notary, I am signed in and if I click on a poster's name to see their info, I am locked out. I am not even a signing service.

I can't see the profiles now. I think I looked at 5 or 6 before I was "locked out"

I have e-mailed Harry

Lord, I don't know. I was zooming around earlier looking at closers in Manchester, NH. My friend owns a real estate agency there and was looking for notaries.

got locked out on my 7th....<<that'll teach me>><G> - must be a safety feature to prevent SS's or TC's from searching without paying the higher level fee for their companies....if it is I can't say I blame Harry. MHO

You are limited to searches unless you have an agency account.
The limit is in place to stop unscrupulous individuals from harvesting the database.

For the very low cost of $59-179 you can have his data base.

The below people buy a premier membership and get a head start on their busniness by using his. If you need unlimited acess, he has an avenue for it, contact him. I am glad with all the spam that he is standing in front of those folks.

Philip
The agencies do not have to buy a premier membership.
They sign up as a signing agency - having proof and references.
As I own a signing agency I have requested to have an agency account,

I guess I have never looked that much because I thought premium members had unlimited looks. Goes to show ya what I know. I got locked out after only a few today.
