It was highly recommended to me for scanning files with and ultimately saving these off to DVD. We used it for two years but found that Adobe Pro was better at saving the files and doing so in a less proprietary format. Those old files were all converted to the PDF format and it has served us well for several years now.
We send PDF files to most TC’s that need “faxbacks”. Having a scanner with an automatic document feeder makes the process much quicker and effecient.
