Stinray Stamp/ Harry or anyone?

My stamp blew up on me yesterday. Apparently I put 20 drops instead of the 10 I needed. Of coure my stamp now runneth over. What can I soak this stamp in to clean it out without degrading the stamp?

Alcohol would thin the ink making a mess wouldn't it? How

about blotting away the extra several times.

Get a news paper and stamp away on it to "use" up some of the excess ink. The newspaper will soak it up better than say a piece of copy paper. Then clean the excess off the side of the stamp if you need too.
