SwiftView: DO NOT INSTALL the version from the email msg!
Like a very silly person I did an hour ago. It doesn't work correctly! I'm still on with a tech.

Ernest... What operating system are you running?
Maybe it doesn't work well with 'this' or 'that'. Any info you come up with will be appreciated and please do keep us posted as to ultimate outcome. Sorry this happened to you. What a royal PITA...

crud - I already installed it - PAW, do you have old version
I got the email and figured I'd install it right away. What isn't working right about it? Can you give details? I'll go uninstall it now. I got the previous version from PAW's website since I had to reinstall it after we had a motherboard burnout which ended up as a complete computer rebuild. I'm using Vista Ultimate on the laptop and will be using Windows XP on the 2 desktop computers once they're up and running. Supposedly the SwiftView version from the email works with Vista, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Swiftview is not generic
I think each company's docs & viewer is license coded.

Andy... does 'not generic' mean we have to download it more
than once? One time for each 'license code'?

Re: Swiftview is not generic
Swiftview is generic in the same sense that Acrobat Reader is. That is, any file from any source that uses the SwiftSend software suite, will be able to be read by SwiftView viewers and printer utilities. Some major companies do license the SwiftSend suite and tailor it for their own use. Two that come to mind are Bank of America (BofA) and Guardian Mortgage (GMD). And, since Swiftview is an eLynx software utility, generic "elx" files can normally be viewed and printed by Swiftview.

Yes, the old version is still available ...
... on my website. The new version is also available, as of today.

SwiftView: A no news update (and that's not good news)
There has been no resolution so far, after two phone calls and hours++ of waiting for the third phone call.
I am running XP Professional and Internet Explorer 7.
There are several issues with the update. I SERIOUSLY recommend that you do NOT install the update. It was obviously NOT TESTED before release!
