CA Identification Requirements

I have a technie question:
Borrower is disabled/homebound and his CA ID is expired (By 5 years). What are witness requirements when ID is expired.

I suggest that you do not hire a California notary Public who doesn't know how to look up stuff in the CA SOS manual. If you have to explain CA law to them, you may be asking for trouble for lots of reasons.
