Express Financial initial atty fees $169,560.50 + expenses

Just got another court notice in the Express Financial Services/Express Title Services of Ohio bankruptcy case. Seems the fees sought by the attorneys for the initial work from Dec 27 thru April 30 are $169.560.50 plus $4,554.11 in expenses.
Their hourly rate is $297.21 (actually pretty reasonable for good attorneys).
Now I don't fault the attorneys, but I am furious at Express Financial/Express Title since to my way of thinking I and the other notaries they stiffed are paying for their bankruptcy. Instead of paying us our earned fees, they've in essence stolen OUR money to pay for THEIR "get out of debt free" scam.

The attorney handling this for creditors called me today after I had called him Friday and left a message. What I understood was he hopes it will be settled this year and he said don't look for a 100% return of what EFS owes us but they hope they can get 25% for each person.

How much do you want to bet that the attorneys aren't including themselves in that "25% for each person"...
