Help with HP P2015X
My son bought me this printer for Fathers Day, and I am having trouble with the 250 sheet additional tray.
Both trays work fine individually, but is there a way to print loan docs in legal and letter wtihout having to switch trays. I thought this printer would automatically print the document using the correct tray. I still have to sit here while they print and swith the trays. No different than my previous printer. Am I missing something?

I suggest that you call HP and have them walk you through it or download the manual off HP's web, its a great help.

I have a 2015X (may say 2015dn on actual printer) Mine works like a charm! If I were you I'd uninstall it completely, and then re-install it. Remember tray 1 (envelopes/single documents) tray 2 (1st under printer) tray 3 (bottom tray) I have 2 for letter, and 3 for legal.

And you can print letter and legal at the same time? I talked to customer support (India), and the rep said it was not possible unless you upgrade to the 3000 series.

It may need different firmware or drivers. I have a 4050, but we did all that to get it to meet the special demands of this business. Try calling HP support during regular hours to get someone who isn't in India. Those reps drive me crazy!

I have printed off hunderds of legal/letter docs on my 2015X. I print them as they come. (five letter, one legal, one letter, five legal) I also have an older HP1320 tn. And it, altho not quite as fast , works great. I have upgraded my memory on both (just me, probably not necessary) I took mine out of the box, connected it, and have been printing perfectly since. It is my belief you have one of the BEST printers available.

PS: My 'old' 1320tn prints legal/letter as they come..... Has done for years... The Indian needs to get some education.
