My comp. keeps trying to update from Apple? Huh??
I have a HP notebook and can't understand why every so often I get a message that Apple has updates ready to install. What's the deal? Could I have some Apple program I don't know about? Darn technology!

Re: Quicktime
I don't see "Quicktime" in my list of programs? Would it be under some other name?

It's also a browser plug-in for viewing videos.

You should accept those updates ... security issue
I assume you don't have an ipod. You might want to accept those updates. If you check the Apple forums, they are beginning to have some real security problems over there right now. I have accepted 9 security updates in the past week on my Mac ......... Seems that Macs are becomming attractive to hackers and virus writers since they are selling more of them these days.
