NFRES
Called NFRES today, and was told that they are closing down. Asked why? And was told they are closing, and Notaries will not be receiving any more assignments. Also the people who contacted us, were no longer there.
Any one know what is going on there?

Recently I've had a few Navy Credit Union closings handled by North American Title.

That's how it goes in this business. Sometimes there's no notice at all, the staff shows up and finds all the doors locked.

The Pensacola Florida office is the one I called. They had recently moved to a larger facility on Nine Mile Road.
Was told a week ago that they had expanded and the Army and Air force were to be a part of the C.U. so things would be hopping.
Then, BINGO! Gone!

I guess I didn't finish that thought before hitting enter. By west coast branch I meant Pensacola. I'm really sad to hear this. Will the VA office be scheduling from now on...do you know?

Becca- The only thing I know for sure, is what I was told Monday, by the lady in the Pensacola Office of NFRES, and that was; They will not be using Notaries anymore, they were closing their doors, and everyone in Notary support was no longer there.
Sad, but true. If anyone finds out anything else, hopefully it will be posted here.
