I see that some notaries do sit inspections. I would like to know what that covers?

Do you mean site inspections? Do search - there was a lot on this recently.

I think you mean site inspections a/k/a field inspections

and yes, I know many NSAs supplementing their income with field inspections and among other things. For more information search "field inspections" here...there were a few discussions about it last week or visit my website. Click on my profile for address.
