AmTrust Bank goes under

AmTrust was seized by federal regulators on Friday, and bought by New York Community Bank. Loans that were in progress with AmTrust will likely be delayed or cancelled.

I noticed my E-Signs for them had dropped off

considerably since the late summer. Man ole man, I hate hearing about these banks going under.

From what I had heard they were under a "cease & desist order" for commercial & high-risk ventures since last year. Another one bites the dust. So much for all the time they invested in creating "e-signs". No wonder they wanted to sell the notes so fast.
