Winter Nor'easter - Blizzard conditions in the North East

OH, Lucky Us!! They just updated our predicted snow fall amount from 18-20 inches to 20-30 inches. Glad I didn't have any closings scheduled for today.

You folks be careful out there AND if at all possible, stay inside where it's warm and safe.

Don't blame you, some things are just not worth the risk. Hope you have a fireplace, light it up and keep warm.

Yes, and it has messed with my vacation plans. My brother is in eastern PA. They were supposed to leave for FL today in their motorhome. That certainly isn't going to happen.
We're having rain here is SE VA & it looks like we will get a small amt. of snow with this.
I saw on the news that they are ranking this the 5th wettest year in history. Cold & damp, damp, damp!!! I was soooooo looking forward to Florida!

Re: Marilynn, if it makes you feel any better,

And our 10 day forecast is about the same , going to 30's at night.

I don't know about you, but if I am to have cold weather, I'd just as soon stay home where I already know how to handle it.

Re: Marilynn, if it makes you feel any better,

Thanks everyone. At least I'm not in the snow areas. That's why I live here now.
I guess I will just have to wait to meet Mickey & Minnie a little while longer.

I had two closings this morning - both scheduled well in advance before I knew about the impending snow. We've already gotten at least 8" - 10" here. Luckily both were very local - I broke out my 4WD Suburban and we got 'er dun! Both borrowers were surprised that we were still on for the appointments.

Then went to drop off the packages and found both local shipping places closed! The packages I did yesterday, I made sure I got to a late drop box to get those shipped. Traffic was an absolute nightmare! Wasn't sure I would be able to get anything out today, though, so I'm glad I made the effort.

Great job Copperhead - I wouldn't have attempted it my area of VA. We're at 24 1/2 in. and still coming down at a steady clip. Thought you guys would have had the same amount or close to it in your area.

Had to break out the short sleeves today.

Highs hit 80 degrees in my town and I had to force myself to get out very early this morning to do a signing in beautiful San Juan Capistrano. It was tough, but somebody had to do it!

Sorry, I don't mean to make light of the horrible circumstances on the entire east coast, I just couldn't help myself. Smile However, I WAS listening to the reports about that monster storm most of the day and sending good thoughts and prayers to all of you who have to deal with it. Do be careful!!!! I hope none of you or yours gets hurt or suffers any damages. (And remember... we have earthquakes to contend with out here... Wink)

Seriously, I will continue to keep the good thought for you all! Be safe!
