eFax vs. the others
I use eFax but I haven't been happy with the legibility of the documents that are "faxed" to me. The documents are frequently off center. What I mean is that it looks as if the documents were scanned at an angle. The print quality is poor - low resolution/dpi.
Those of you using other electronic faxing services, are you experiencing the same thing? If you are, then I may need to reconsider the manner in which I receive faxes.
For my non-loan work I need the ability to receive quality faxes.

FWIW
I wasn't too happy with eFax service either. I now use Comodo TrustFax (http://www.trustfax.com) and have been very happy with the service and the quality of service and faxes.

MaxeMail Lite is what I use... annual fee of $25?? (I don't remember) No quality complaints. The 'lite' may not be enough for you, tho'.

I use Faxaway.com. For $1/month I get a dedicated fax number and the faxes are sent to my email. I pay $10 in advance with a debit card. I've been happy with it.
My 'cheap' account doesn't handle volume real well. Service upgrades are available.

I've been using Ureach.com for over 6 years and love it! Subscriptions are reasonable and have a full office service, fax, 800 number, voicemail, calendar, file system, etc. Check it out, might work for you.

Susan re: My fax
Hi, Susan
I've been using it MyFax.com as well.
But they have had a serious glitch for the last several months in that I can't send out faxes to groups any longer: I have to enter each fax number by hand. Phooey for my fax marketing announcement campaigns to specific clients and industries.
Have you had a problem with the group sending as well?
Thanks! LauraV

Thanks everyone for your replies. It sounds as if
there is a way to receive quality faxes via email. I'll need to make the switch.

Myfax.com. Excellent quality and service. But
never used any other service. Don't discount the fact that quality problems can be on the sending end at times. Garbage in, garbage out.

eFax is junk; Anyone know good service for group sends?
eFax let me down at a crucial time.
Does anyone use a reliable electronic fax service for sending out one fax to groups of numbers?
I've been using MyFax for several years. But it developed a software problem this year where I can't send out one fax to several numbers in my groups (series of numbers with names, company names, etc). Software problem. I'm going to bail as soon as you folks clue me in to my best option.
Thanks for your help!

I did a fax broadcast using Myfax to 111 numbers two days ago without issue. Are you talking about eFax or Myfax? You mentioned both in your post.

Hi, Glenn
Sorry for confusion. I've been using MyFax until the memorized groups stopped working a few months ago.
I tried eFax several years ago and dumped it almost immediately.
I'll trying MyFax and send out a small dummy group and see what happens.

I believe eFax is a good product. I am also very
familiar with UReach.
I will keep my eFax indefinitely just because I have the number and don'e want to change it.
Ureach is also a good one.

Michelle, since I have both UReach and eFax faxing capability I would say that it depends on the way it is scanned to you or what type of fax they are using. It could also happen with other faxing services.

Exactly
Much of the time, as with scanned PDFs from title companies, the fax issue is on the other end and not your fault.
