1st & 2nd mtges
I have not had any 1st & 2nd mtge signings for a long time now. Is anyone willing to let me know the fees they charge for these? I had a cancellation on one yesterday that had over 800 pages for me to print (borrower copies included in this figure). I don't recall having that many docs back when I did them more frequently. Info and opinions appreciated.

Likewise: $50 for a 2nd + edoc fee
I do give a discount if the 2nd is a simple HELOC with minimal amount of paperwork.

I charge my standard fee for the first and 50% of that fee for the second. In the case of two 200 page packages to sign I MIGHT ask for a modest additional print fee. Those are two huge packages...jeez

And I thought the CW/FS here in Texas with 225 pgs was large. 1/2 again and $25 for printing for 2nd. FYI, CountryWide as yesterday is NOW, B of A Home Loans.

I've never had 800 page 1st and 2nd are you sure it was that large. If so $25.00 for download per mtg wasn't enough. You ate this closing

Thanks everyone for your guidance on the fees. I am being paid for the trip fee and a print fee. Now it is re-scheduled for tomorrow. Turns out that the lender emailed the docs already in duplicate and did not have any dividing pages stating that it was the borr. pkg and also included the instructions telling me to print an extra set for the borrower. Being that I did not have the docs until 1 1/2 before the signing appt. I had not noticed that. Pages throughout the pkg stated that there are two loans and this is the second lien. It stated that evenn for the First lien. They must have been rushing. Too bad we have to sit and try to sort it all out for them. Should only be about 350 pages in total for the re-schedule. I am happy that the borrower did not sign because of the terms after all that!
