I think anyone who buys real estate should have an attorney

unless it's really, really cheap property.

it wouln't be cheap by the time the attorney gets done. Get a good Realtor.

Dang it's hard to pick on lawyers when you've got butterfingers...

This sounds like that math problem I always hated!!

Answer: it'll take drive #1 3 hours and driver #2 4.25 hours and they'll meet in the middle at 2:00 pm...Smile

Is Texas an Attorney State? (no) Is NY? (no) Is he paying cash? Is he getting a HELOC with money out?What do you think? Does he get the minerals? Should he check with the Railroad Commission? Is the investor a Democrat? If he gets a lawyer does that lawyer need to be admitted to the Texas Bar?.... The NY Bar? Does the guy drink? Sorry this question is far beyond my expertise.
