you can have an old stamp redone with the new date and such or if you have to buy a new one every time you renew your certificate...

I guess it depends on the kind stamp meaning self inking, etc. I doesn't sound like it's worth the trouble.

I have been told that the biggest part of the exepnse is putting the information on the stamp. So it probably is not worth the effort to re-do the stamp.

As a retailer of rubber stamps, I can tell you that you must buy a complete new stamp each time. The pad does not adapt well to new infomation on a new die . Also the mechanism is probably reaching its expected life span.
