did a closing for laos on 12/23/08 and instead of a check I rec'd a bk notice 1/7/09. parent company filed a chpt 11 in nov. beware if they call you for a signing..

Received the Chapter 11 notice this week in the mail... The website listed for proof of claim form is as follows: www.vaeb.uscourts.gov or try www.epiqbankruptcysolutions.com. They are the claims agent for these cases. (Deadline is March 24, 2009)

Another recent thread on this. Rick is asking that if you were hired after they filed bankruptcy is that fraud.

I called Landam to inquire about this and was told that the bankruptcy is only affecting the holding company and LandAm One Stop is not a part of that. I was told that they are not closing. I have been doing signings and have been getting paid within 30 days.
