Adobe 9 Technical Issue...Has anyone else noticed that

sometimes the paper size shown on the main screen is sometimes different than the size shown on the Print, Preview:Composite. I have ran into this several times recently. Then we I go to print the document will not print correctly. I have tried reducing the scale manually but nothing seems to work. It is usually the width of the document that gets affected by the size discrepancy. Has anyone else run into this and know how to fix it? TIA

No, but I have a problem with Adobe 9 Reader.
If I send the doc to be printed, and there are other docs waiting, it ends up looking like gibberish. Same thing happens when I hit print, and the printer is not hooked up at that time.

I have the same problem with the Adobe 9 Reader. My HP2430dtn will not print the correct page size and I end up printing all docs on legal size paper. I have tried everything I know but have not been able to correct this problem. I am going to try to go back to Adobe 8 as soon as I get time to install same. I will need to remove the automatic updating but this problem is costing me money having to use all legal size paper.
Anyone with a way to work around this problem, please let us know.

If I remember right I had that same problem with the page sizes and I sent those pages to my HP 3015 instead of the 2200dtn. The 3015 printed them on 8 1/2 x 11 from Adobe 9 with no problems.

I had a similar problem with my 2200 when I received email docs that were all scanned on 8 1/2 x 14 "pages", even the letter sized ones. I could not get the 2200 to print them on letter size paper! So I went through the docs and sent the "short" ones to my 3015 and the legal size to the 2200.

I guess the 3015 doesn't know any better! Smile

Here is a link to Adobe, they may have something on the Forums that might be of help.

I have been using Adobe 9 since it came out and have not had any printing problems. I am not running duel trays, I print entirely on legal. If your using duel trays that may be where the problem occurs.

I'm running Adobe Reader 9 and have an HP 2430tn which has dual trays. No problems yet.

with your HP 2430tn are you able to have the printer automatically print to letter or legal?

It usually happens when the document is scanned in but is

not the exact size of letter or legal. Maybe instead it is 8.54 x 11.10 or 8.54 x 14.16 as an example. By being slightly off, it seems to be throwing Adobe off with a different width size to 10.12 when you go to print......

Nothing on the Adobe forums either
