Ditto Lee's advice, but adding a 'Welcome' ...

More power to anyone and everyone in our poor little 18+ unemployment state!

Are you on Strasburg?! I grew up on Greiner & Barlow! =)

Welcome, Denea. There is a lot of valuable information to be gained on this site.
Brenda in TX just posted "Why don't people know", and you might benefit from what it says.

Good luck

I've been contacted by three new Michigan notaries in the last week asking for advice. I don't know who sent the memo around to everyone saying that this was a good time to get into this, but that memo should be recalled. Even many experienced notaries have struggled or gotten out of this. But I wish you well.

Since you live in Wayne County Michigan, you know that the State
is in a terrible recession..... so everything has slowed down.

My advice would be (since you have been a Notary Public for less
than a year), do "general notarizations" first so that you understand
what being a Notary Public intales. Know the State of Michigan
Notary Public Laws inside & out.

What company are you taking your "Certification" from?
