Auto Equity Loan Signing
Has anyone ever done an Auto Equity Lan Signing? I got a call for one today, and first I've heard of it. Thanks.

I tried to stop that typo, but I couldn't!

I did one a few weeks ago for my brother in law. Nothing special just an acknowledgment.

I have a whole checklist in front of me. I have to check the car out like a mechanic.

I handled one of these in January. Strange way to borrower money,IMO. All I did was verify the VIN, and note the condition of the vehicle on the supplied form.Easy enough, 1 Ack, and a POA, and I was done.

According to my instructions, I didn't have to notarize anything. I hope they told me the correct thing. I had him sign the POA and another form and checked his driver's license and the vin number. He gave me his title and I gave him a check. Thanks for the comments.

I was talking to a car dealer at lunch just last week, he informed me that Missouri has done away with needing anything notarized for a car purchase to go through. Oh well, there goes that line of revenue

If there was a POA you probably should have notarized that, depending on the form and the law in your state...
