ClosingMasters
I did a signing for them and they are very good, very professional and pay promptly.

As was the subject header in message 282282, the notary must post on NotRot if they get paid, it is in the contract!
Sheesh, I think I will have a contract with my notaries that they must post on NotRot when they get paid, and all companies should do this. NOT!
It is irritating to say the least.

It doesn't appear to be. Notice the number who have come out and praised the company in the last couple of days.

Actually, the unsolicited love affair began in February
wish Mike would respond whether his post was a joke or not - I find it hard to believe that (1) a company would include that type of condition in their contract and (2) notaries would agree to it!! But I guess I shouldn't let anything surprise me any more..

Re: Sylvia...I thought that was a joke....wasn't it??...
Sylvia, FWIW, the first one I did for them was in January. When my check came, there was a flyer in it that REQUESTED that I post on NR my experience with them, which I did. There was no contract, but I felt that, with all the new deadbeats, it would help them with those, like me, that were reticent to take their jobs. It's probably no longer helpful.

Harry needs to put a stop to this--it's advertising. Seriously--in the contract that they have to post on NotRot--really!

If that truly is in the contract, I agree, Marilyn....
and that's one contract I won't be signing...I won't be anyone's walking billboard...I also notice that most who post don't link....hmmm...<G>

Can someone post a copy of this "contract"?
Does this company actually make posting a positive comment on NotRot a condition of payment??
These unsolicited comments from people we've never seen before are really getting old... How stupid do they think we are?

Or just rate them in Signing Central and be done with it
Jeez....this is a daily thing now - we get it!!...Now just rate them in SC so all can go look them up and see...
My .02 again - what's that now? $0.10 today??...maybe more..

Guess I'm not going to get paid. If it's in the contract I didn't read the fine print.

Yeah…I’m a little tired of seeing this BS….Mostly from new members…So some signing company started up and does a few signings a week, and are okay to work with…and actually pay….Isn’t that what they are “supposed” to do? Hey…I wish them luck…and actually do want to hear about the ‘non-thieves’ out there…But this is overkill. It does say something about NR’s power. If I were a start up SS I’d probably do the same thing…but limit it a bit. Come on guys…how about once a month….Otherwise Harry may hit the delete button? Come on Harry we all recognize the need for new blood, and we who have been here know the power of this board…but sometimes “recommendations” are masked “advertising”? You-the-boss! What do you think?

Their packages are HUGE!
I just printed out my first one for them today.....486 pages including the borrower's copies. It's the largest FHA package I have seen to date.

Re: Their packages are HUGE!
What lender are you talking about? In Texas some (not all) Country Wide packets are 225 pgs. We can only hope that when CW become B of A Home Loans the size of this package will be reduced. JFYI: Chase runs over 150 pgs.

I had a Chase FHA the other night...
74 pages...total....
My normal packages are 125-150 pages....an occasional 175 or so...

I was joking, but seems the company wants you to post up
So post in signing central(the right place to post feedback) kinda sick of the closing master zombie post.
