Question for WA notary

My mom is 82 this year, thinks she needs to renew DL. Is this something that can be done online? Are there any restrictions on the elderly for this? TIA

Doesn't look like she can renew online.

I couldn't find anything to suggest they accept online renewals.

Seems they only do vehicle registration renewals online.

Gave me info on OR - not WA. But I did find out. Over 65 one may get notice to renew online, but most likely won't. WA does online.
Thanks though...I always appreciate when someone goes out of their way. It was late, had to get my beauty rest. Woke, beauty faded but spirit brightened.

I just realized I had checked Oregon! Have no idea why! Must be the meds (just got out of hospital yesterday!). Yes Washington does do online.

Sorry for the error!

My wife just renewed online

$25.00 a few key punches and 4 days later there's your license. The nice thing is that they use your previous picture, so you automatically look at least 5 years younger.

LOL.....Even if my hubby thought it, he would never admit it....Not if he wants to sleep in the "people house" for the night.

Re: My wife just renewed online

Thanks all - much appreciated.

In WA can renew online if you are between 25-65 and get card with code in the mail. Otherwise must appear in person. Appts. are given (thank you Laura) to put you at the head of the line to easy the wait time. Much like Florida, although FL doesn't have the age restriction, at least not yet. They should, even though that would make me have to visit in 3 years when I'm up for renewal. Who knows, it may come to pass here by then.

Again, thank you for your time and assistance.
