Sunset Signings - CA

Received a call last evening from this company. I accepted because I didn't have access to my computer. A search here seems to indicate negative vibes, but no comments have been made since late 2008. Any new news about this company?

I did a closing for this company on January 22, 2009. I am still waiting to be paid.

I did a closing for Sunset on December 9, 2008. I did a check of Sunset with Rotary Notary and found them to be questionable. I called Steve at Sunset before I did the closing expressing my concerns about payment. He promised me that they always paid in two to three weeks. After many unreturned phone calls and unanswered e-mails I have still NOT BEEN PAID. I would highly recommend against anyone accepting any closings from them.

Contact the title company, then the lender. You may get some action.
