Tax Question

Any tax pros out there? I have a unique question I asked a tax preparer. The answer
I got was "if you feel adventurous, try it." I'd like to get a more adequate reply. PM

nothing ventured, nothing gained. If the deduction is later disallowed (or whatever they call it) you pay the tax, penalty and interest. Depending on what you want to do, I'd be certain that whatever you want to do is not ... not sure of the wording here ... fraud or something that can constitute a criminal charge.
