236 pages - overkill

236 pages for single copy of FHA re-fi. Copious amts. of duplicates including, 5 applications, 4 sets of FHA docs, too many aff. to count, including one that states they have no actual card to verify their ss numbers but the ones listed on that page were correct. They indeed had cards and had already submitted copies to lender.

I had 2 this week that included all the Respa docs. I printed them all for both the lender and borrower for the 1st closing. However, I asked the borrowers if they already had copies of the respa docs they signed earlier and they said yes. So, for the 2nd closing, I did not print the 50 respa docs. Saved a little bit anyway.
I also would go through that huge pkg of yours and not print the duplicates. Only print 1 application etc. Just not necessary and borrowers would appreciate it too.

That would probably be a good idea for borrower docs, if that's what you meant, but just to be clear, I think it's a good idea to print - and get signed - all the duplicates for the lender's package. Some lenders put them there for a reason, but it sure does make you wonder!

Sounds like the purchase/sale signing I had last year

262 or 264 pages - twice...my all-time record high...and yes, multiple copies of many many documents - that's the one I posted about where I was told it was in the scanning...

Ridiculous...I did get paid extremely well for that signing..

No RESPA docs. When I talked to lender direct I was told to print as sent. His comment was "You know how these FHA loans go".

You ought to get a double fee for signing that large

of a package - that's absolutely insane!!!

Some times I have seen 4 1003s but from different LOs for the very same loan, so be careful, and make sure you print all 1003s if this is the case. I would not decide which docs get printed or not, I just print what ever they sent me.

I had a VA last night with 217 pgs BUT 30 pages weren't even part of her loan. Some how a commercial loan for a church in another state got mixed into the middle of it. Those were pulled. Initially the tc said they couldn't find out why that was in there and to go ahead and print them. Finally got ahold of the LO and he said it shouldn't be there. It was in the lender doc's.

I print what they send - not up to me to decide...........did get the fee, way up there but getting home at midnight is not my idea of fun nor is it worth it. I don't like to go past 10-10:30, this one didn't start until 9:30. Older couple, usually in bed by 8:30 and then the wife starts reading the docs after she has sign...........rought nite all the way round including for them.

In this case it was a 2 million loan and full of someone elses personal information. Hand that over to a 3rd party? Don't think so unless I was specifically told to do so.

I try to get scheduler tell me how many pages are in the docs so I can give my fee. For 125 +pages ..... my fee changes. If they can't tell me how many pages are in the docs I tell them I will let them know if I can follow through with agreed fee.
