Cap, I hadn't heard of our area being referred to as The DMV until
there was some little blurb in the Post about some rappers
using those letters. I don't know if it will ever catch on, Dept of Motor Vehicles pretty
much has those initials owned. Check right here on this website, put in Wash DC and
click on Spanish speaking.

actually anotaryinva, this area is known as DMV for a long time. It really popular with the young folks and mostly in the black community. It has already caught on and has been used for years. Its just slang so we can refer to this area easily. I use it all the time. Also dept of motor vehicles (DMV), doesnt cross over state lines. Maryland calls theirs Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). Just a tidbit of info for you.
