I am off to do a refi in a lender's office.
If you don't see me post by 4 PM send out the calvary.
I'm thinking about taking a firearm, the way things have been played (out of control in lender's offices for closings) here the last few days.........

Glad to hear this was a non-event for you! But it's a good reminder to us all that what we are most likely to hear about here are the exceptions, not the rule. I think that sometimes it's too easy to generalize and make assumptions about - well, nearly anything, based on the unusual, bizarre, funny, aggravating, or whatever that gets talked about. The latter are just the things that we feel compelled to post about and find interesting to read.

Glad to hear you survived

I too had a closing in the lender's office today. It was a REO purchase with a first-time buyer and went very smoothly. It helped that neither the listing or selling agent attended and even the LO stayed out of the way.
