5 ID forms, 1 Package
Closing had 5 ID forms all with same information in different format, plus required copy of Drivers License, plus filling out journal. Took longer to fill out ID forms than it did to do the closing.

I also have been seeing more of these ID forms and requests lately. Been taking more and more time to get past the ID requirements and some borrowers are also beginning to ask how many forms for ID do we have to fill out.

Had a first for me last night with copy of ID. The docs
were sent to borrower. In the pkg along with the UPS shipping envelope was another white envelope about the size of a small manilla envelope. Instructions were to put copies of ID's and the Patriot Act form filled out inside the envelope and seal it and send it back with the rest of the docs. The instructions said it was part of their privacy policy. When you seal that envelope it has a red bar across the back and if that envelope is opened, that red bar will say OPENED (so it says). I wonder if they will open it when they get it back. Anyone else see this?
