I completed a closing for DTC on September 30, 2010. I have not received payment and have been told repeatedly that "my check is in the next cycle (next week)", but still no check. I am going to contact the title company next.

Curious...why would you work for this company if it is clear

that DTC just doesn't pay its nsa's?

That company did pay in the past. It seems their modus operandi has changed over the past six months or so. If one is doing work for a company and getting paid, all is well. If the company suddenly stops paying, one does not get a notice saying that the company will not be paying, but learns the hard way by doing the work and then trying t0 get paid. Then comes the comments here and postings to Signing Central.

I have worked for them twice and have been paid both times

1st signing was 10-27 paid 11-6, 2nd signing was 11-5 and paid 12-6. Not sure why the 2nd 1 took longer but they did pay within 30 days.

I'm in the same position. Signing from 9-30. I'm getting the same brush-off responses as you, or none at all. I had included an email to the tc, but still no payment. Be sure to post in Signing Central.

I had exactly the same problem getting paid by him. I did call the title company and was paid shortly after calling. I won't be working for him again.
