Just wondering - I notarized the last page of a mortgage,

but the top part came out too light. Only a few letters in my name are there. Should I draw a line through it, initial it, and restamp. Or is it okay as is. Thanks!

I'd just leave the stamp you have as is and put a clear stamp next to it. I've done that a number of times before and it was never an issue.

I have done the same several times, never a problem.

You meant you notarized the signature on the last page of the mortgage.

yeah, that's happened to me when my stamp starts to run dry.

just leave the original and stamp next to your first one, or underneath it...a clear stamp is needed.

I Beieve that we are allowed to put 2 stamps on if necessary. However, if it is only the notarization page with no signature, just reprint and notarize.

I've had that happen once or twice. I put an "x" through the first one, and re-stamp. Never had an issue doing that.
