Question for the FL folks

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes in FL for a foreclosure proceeding to run its course after the lis pendens is filed? It's currently running about 2 years here in NY, but I'm curious about FL because I have a friend there who is now in foreclosure.

The law firm where I work handles some foreclosures, which get assigned to me. I'm sitting on files going on 3 years old. If you get a good attorney it is very easy to stall a foreclosure, especially if you find fraud in the paperwork (which is rampant). Pro se defendants probably get foreclosed on a lot faster.

Thanks - they are not doing this pro se, so maybe they have a better shot. Attorney is alleging "irregularities and inconsistencies" in the paperwork.
