Title co sent a Grant Deed included in loan pkg then they
also sent another Grant Deed to "replace" the one in the pkg. Now I get an email telling me to have both G.D. signed and notarized and returned in the pkg "just to be safe". I remember reading a thread a while back about not a good idea to have 2 Deeds of Trust on the same property signed and notarized, any thoughts on this?

Are they identical, date, vesting,etc?

Yes, the same except ecrow # is incorrect on the 1st one. n/m

personally, I would do the one with the correct escrow #. I would also ask them if the incorrect escrow # was associated with any other loan? If it isn't/wasn't then why notarize it? IMO

Talked to the T.C. who agreed after all to send just the
corrected G.G. back to them. Thx James!
