West Point Grad

If you would like to look up a West Point graduate, you will find this site helpful.

I agree that when a company is challenged

repeatedly, a name should be given.

I am still concerned about the site.

FGX has said that it is in the hands of State of NJ. It's time to see what happens now.

Most of us are tired of you harping about NotaryNow. It's obvious to me that you were the one who posted the Ripoff Report.

Yeah..I kind of agree...after all our

moaning and groaning and action their website is still up and running so nothing's changed so far...except the advertising they're getting, which is off the charts...and beating the West Point connection into the ground gets us nowhere..IMO it's making the whole issue personal...

Might also want to consider how close this comes to competition for Harry - advertising a rival website offering services by a network of notaries...

The point is, that he is NOT listed as a graduate. There are 2 pages of graduates with the last name Hawkins and he is not one of them. He is a complete fraud.
The NJ Notary Assn is doing every to get this site taken down
He is not getting advertising. He is getting bad press. We do not want any other NJ Notaries doing this untill the State acts

Re: WHO CARES???? Stop beating a dead horse.

I care, Shoshana. It isn't a dead horse. He offered new information on an issue that interests me. It is an issue that is directly and deeply relevant to the members of this forum. You are ill-advised to attempt to shut down the flow of information on matters that affect me, and everybody else on this forum.

For those of us who served in the military, the purported West Point connection extended a cache to the individual and his enterprise that he could have obtained in almost no other way. To find that the connection may be phony is devastating to any credibility he may have left. I want that information, and I thank the poster for providing it.

Hugh,
With all due respect to our veterans and military academy graduates, if you believe he is bogus then report him to the proper authorities.
I daresay, that unless the laws change, there may not be anyone on this forum doing business business with NN anyway. I never believed he had any credibility in the first place.

Well, good for you Shoshana. It is gratifying to know that people with powers of perception that obviously far exceed mine are watching out for us on NotRot. Please keep putting your abilities to work for us. It is a comfort.

Re: WHO CARES???? Stop beating a dead horse.

I can only go by what my SOS says. What he purports to do via his business is not legal in AZ. I cannot speak to the other 49 states.
I honestly could care less about his affiliation with West Point. That would not influence my decision whether or not to do business with him. I've met a lot of people who had great credentials whose ethics and morality were sorely lacking.

I found him

What name should we be looking for that is not there? Did you, perhaps, misspell?

What is your name? Are you listed there and resent that another would attempt to scam and/or dishonor the institute? I could understand that.

Retract what.
Chris Hawkins who graduated in 1980 is old enough to be this kids father. Take a look at his video.
A Michael Christopher Hawkins graduated in 2006.
Our Chris made this post in Jan 2005.
http://support.notarynow.com/entries/381899-uploading-documents A graduate has a 5 year committment to the military.
He has been working on this scam from 2005 before it came out

Wrong again. It says

"posted this on Dec-08 2010 15:19 "

You're moving too fast and missing the obvious. Slow down and read stuff carefully before making accusations...

You are jumping to conclusions I think, about the post he made referenced above. I am pretty sure that is referring to Jan 5 of this year....not the year 2005

Re: I disagree. I think you should retract

All I am saying is that it is possible that you've overlooked something. Frankly, I feel he is the 2006 grad. I do not believe for a minute that those posts were made in 2005. They were made January 5, 2011.

I'm not pro-NN!! I am just saying that the more accurate the information stated, the more credible that NR is.

Thanks for the info. As always, you don't have control over

how it is received. I understand the personal issue with NJ, since they are claiming to be operating in that state. I, too, am tired of hearing about them, but fraud if fraud. Again, good work fellow notaries for doing some homework on these folks' bogus claims.

The last thing we need to do is "stop beating the horse"

This horse needs to continue to be beaten until it goes away!

I don't know about you, Shoshana, but IMO this could have a very major and longlasting negative impact on our profession.

Except this horse is not dead .......

As long as the website still works, this is not dead, and I want every iota of information on the subject that I can get. It needs to be beaten dead and buried deep and make sure there aren't any "colts" out there that we don't know about it. Even after NN is put to rest, you can bet that it will morph into something else or someone else will have the same idea. I think the proposed VA legislation proves that. And you can bet that there are other people in other states, legislators and financial people alike who are closely watching what happens here .

This issue will never be dead.
