Fee question
Can somebody tell me what fees Title Source is offering when they call? Not the fee you charge them, but the fee the initially offer. Thanks. I'm sending an email to someone, so the soon I get the responses the better.

They didn't "initially offer" with me...
They have my fee schedule, but when they called they asked me what I would charge for that particular signing, I told them and they accepted it..

After reading about them in previous posts, I thought I'd check them out.
To sign up with them is pretty intense, especially in comparison to other groups. The fees they list on their site are: $65 for refi; $45 for Home Equity; $40 for Modification; $100 for Reverse Mortgage; $25 for Piggyback; and $20 for edoc printing.
They request the areas you will cover for those fees. My rates are more than those listed.

Then your answer may be: in my front hallway.
I am really waiting for someone to take me up on that offer....I don't want them in my office but could deal with them on the floor in my hallway. Different.

Thanks. That was the information I was seeking. I gathered they were a lowball $65 TC.

Does anyone here actually accept $65 as a base fee for loan signings? I thought $75 was bad when I used to accept signings for this price.

They base their fee on the fact that they overnight the documents. Interestingly, however, they give a long list of the "except if..." scenarios. And their Agreement package is 5 pages long.

I dunno....
but just got $100/14miles/Quicken docs to B. Whether that was their idea or mine I can't remember, but it would be 'my fee'. I also don't remember 'signing up' with them.
