Pen Again refills

Had a signing the other day with a borrower who had MS, it was an ordeal for her to sign, she was almost in tears. This convinced me I need to get a few of the Pen Again pens that have been discussed here. All I can find have black ink, does anyone know what brand and model of refill would fit and where to get them?

Bob, I think it was Stoli who posted she just cut the tips off some standard blue refills and she said they worked fine. I haven't tried it yet but I will. I use them mostly for GNW.

No blue ink, as far as I know.

This is from the "Pen Again" website

Ergosof PenAgain

Along with new enhancements like a pocket clip, retractable cap, easier refilling and more streamlined ergonomics, the new Ergo-Sof PenAgain is also finished with a soft rubber coating that adds extra comfort and style. All Ergo-Sof pens come with two additional black refills. Order in red, silver, blue and black.

Pen Again blue ink

I'm trying to find blue ink as well.

Our O.D. has the Pen Again in only 1.0mm and the only refills as listed on the back of the P.A. that they carry are .08 mm Foray and Zebra.

Both the Foray and Zebra multicolors (one brand is black, red and orange highlighter only) and the other 1 blue, 1 red and 1 yellow highlighter.

Am I the only one experiencing the size difference issue? The store assures me that the .08mm is too thin (it is apparent when you look at them side by side) and will not work in the 1.0 mm. All they carry for the Pen Again size is the 1.0mm.

Suggestions anyone?

Stoli can you provide info on the blue ink refills you cut down to size?

TIA.

Well, it isn’t perfect, but it works in a pinch.

I purchase blue, notary pens from National Pen, and the ink cartridge from those pens is the same diameter as the ink cartridge in the Pen Again. Cut the ink cartridge to the correct length and inserted the cut ink cartridge in to the Pen Again. It was a little messy but got the job done in an emergency situation. I’ll bet a dollar to a doughnut that most advertisement pens have the same diameter, plastic ink cartridges.

Jam, I contacted Pen Again and they referred me to Du-All

Both were surprised at the need for blue. We ended up at the same place in exactly the way. Great minds working together....

Re: Pen Again refills/Du-All

Pen Again refills can be found in blue ink at www.duall.com They are not cheap, they are $1.52 each. I store them point down, because they seem to take a long time to get started.

Search under.........Yasutomo, Part # TP18MC

I spoke to PenAgain and told them our dilemma regarding blue ink. They said, they have attorney's also asking for blue ink, but don't have the blue refills. I called them back and told them of Du-All.

Re: Blue Ink -- thanks

I have been told that Parker mini refills will work in the PenAgain. I have ordered a 5 pack for $5.50,shipping included, from Temecula Pens on ebay. I also ordered a batch of PenAgain pens, cheap enough on ebay I can leave one with any signer who might need one. I will let you all know how the refills work out. Thanks, Bob.
